RoanTek introduces FieldOps, a family of apps designed for the trades

Eight trade-specific apps, from HVACOps to CleanOps, are being designed on one shared foundation for scheduling, dispatch, work orders, estimates and invoicing.

BALTIMORE, Md., Oct. 1, 2026 — RoanTek, LLC today introduced FieldOps, a family of apps designed for contractors and field-service businesses. Now in design, FieldOps brings RoanTek’s platform approach to the trades: each app is a focused product for one trade, and all of them are built on one shared foundation for scheduling, dispatch, work orders, estimates and invoicing.

Field-service businesses often choose between generic tools that do not fit how their trade works and specialist software that covers one trade and little else. FieldOps is designed to give each trade an app built around its own work, such as service agreements and equipment history for HVAC contractors or flat-rate pricing and job costing for plumbers, while the work every trade shares is handled once, by the platform underneath.

“A plumber and a pest control company run very different days, but both need to take a request, schedule the work, send the right person and get paid,” said a RoanTek spokesperson. “FieldOps puts that shared work in one foundation and gives each trade an app built around how it actually operates. Adding a new trade becomes an extension of the platform, not a new system.”

The FieldOps apps

  • HVACOps: service agreements, equipment history and dispatch for HVAC contractors.
  • PlumbOps: scheduling, emergency calls and job costing for plumbing businesses.
  • LawnOps: routes, recurring visits and crews for landscaping and lawn care.
  • PoolOps: service routes and water chemistry history for pool service companies.
  • SecureOps: site surveys, installs and service contracts for security installers.
  • PestOps: recurring treatments, routes and records for pest control operators.
  • RoofOps: leads, inspections and production tracking for roofing contractors.
  • CleanOps: recurring appointments, crews and checklists for cleaning businesses.

FieldOps follows a job from start to finish. Leads and customer requests land in one place, ready to qualify and schedule. Estimates, scheduling and dispatch turn a request into planned work for the right crew. Technicians see the job and document the work from the field, and completed work flows into invoicing and payment status without re-keying.

The apps are designed to fit the business, from an owner-operator to a growing fleet of technicians, with sensible defaults and plain-language settings to adjust as it grows. Customers, the office and technicians in the field work from the same up-to-date picture of each job.

FieldOps is in design, and RoanTek has not announced pricing or availability. Field-service businesses that would like to share how their trade works are invited to get in touch at www.roantek.com/contact.
