Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

RoanTek wants roantek.com to be usable by as many people as possible, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. Accessibility is part of how we build the site, not something we add at the end.

The standard we aim for

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA as our internal target. This is a best-effort commitment: we have not had the site formally audited, and we do not claim that it fully conforms to WCAG or any other standard.

What we do

Every change to the site goes through automated checks before it is published, and we test our main pages by hand when we release. This includes:

• automated accessibility testing of our components and pages with axe;
• automated colour-contrast checks for every text and interface colour, in both light and dark themes;
• keyboard testing: everything can be reached and used without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator and a "Skip to main content" link;
• manual screen-reader checks of our main pages when we release;
• respecting your device’s reduced-motion setting;
• touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels for main controls;
• pages that are readable with JavaScript turned off, and that reflow on small screens and when zoomed.

Known limitations
