RoanTek begins design of BusinessOS, a connected platform for running a business
BusinessOS is designed to link customer relationships, marketing, subscriptions and finance, and will be proven first on RoanTek’s own products.
BALTIMORE, Md., Oct. 6, 2026 — RoanTek, LLC today announced that it has begun design work on BusinessOS, a connected platform for running a business. BusinessOS is designed to bring customer relationships, marketing, subscriptions and finance together on one platform, so that every product an organization runs works from the same picture of its customers and its business.
Most growing businesses run each of these functions in a separate system, each with its own copy of every customer. Keeping those copies in step takes manual work, and the answer to a simple question, such as which customers are active and what they pay for, depends on which system is asked. BusinessOS is designed to hold that picture once and share it with every part of the business that needs it.
What BusinessOS is designed to connect
- Customer relationships: one view of each customer across the products they use.
- Marketing: campaigns and audiences built on the same customer picture.
- Subscriptions: plans, sign-ups and renewals handled once and shared by every product.
- Finance: financial operations connected to the customer and subscription facts behind them.
“Every product we build needs the same things behind it: a record of the customer, a way to reach them, a plan they subscribe to and the money that follows,” said a RoanTek spokesperson. “We would rather build that foundation once, and build it properly, than rebuild it inside every product. BusinessOS is that foundation, and we intend to run our own portfolio on it first.”
The platform is being designed around a few principles. Each organization’s data and configuration stay isolated from every other’s. An organization can run one product or several, each using only the capabilities it needs. People see what their role allows, and privileged access is scoped and recorded.
RoanTek plans to prove BusinessOS on its own products first: the Proximity Platform apps, PartnerUnity and the FieldOps apps for the trades. BusinessOS is in design, and RoanTek has not announced pricing or availability. Businesses that want to connect their systems are invited to get in touch at www.roantek.com/contact.
